Смысл в подкатегории

При добавлении нового форума, его можно сделать как субкатегорию. Поле:Treat as a category

A container for subforums only; does not allow direct posts Вот только тему там добавить нельзя. смысл тогда в создании такой категории? Для чего они нужны?
