How to show attachment thumbnails to guests?

How do I show attachment thumbnails to guests?

 

I would like to show thumbnails to guests WITHOUT showing the full image....IPB will only show a link; how can I show this image, WITHOUT opening via the permissions? which allows guests to other attachments...

WITHOUT никак. If you know the path to thumbnails can get the path to the full image.

Но если так сильно хочется, при рендеринге аттачей можно составить условие и разрешить гостям отображение тумбов без права просмотра прикрепленных файлов. По моему я такую инструкцию уже где-то писал.

Open /admin/applications/core/sources/classes/attach/class_attach.php

Find

 

	if ( is_array( $rows ) AND count( $rows ) )
	{
		$attachtypes	= $this->getAttachTypes();

Add after

		if( ! $this->memberData['member_id'] AND $skin_name == 'topic' )
		{
			$this->settings['show_img_upload'] = true;
		}
